Boiler MACT Testing

Boiler MACT, EPA’s regulations under the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP), requires industrial boilers and process heaters to tune their burner system for CO at one, two or five year intervals depending on size.

Boiler MACT Testing and Tuning

• 1-2 day effort to achieve balanced emissions profiles for O2 and CO. NOx not required but can be measured if requested.
• Inspect and examine burners and burner equipment and provide recommended maintenance duties.
• Visual inspection of the burner flame pattern (if possible) and make adjustments to the flame pattern as necessary to optimize combustion.
• Provide written final report as documentation of the tuning effort.
